Irish Revolutionist Murdered, Gerry Foley’s obituary in the Intercontinental Press (USA) November 22, 1971 for Trotskyist Peter Graham, shot dead in Dublin on 25 October 1971 at the age of twenty-six. Trotskyist Gerry Foley joined the staff of Intercontinental Press, a journal published by the Socialist Workers Party  for the Fourth International. Gerry spoke close to 80 languages including Gaelic, whose poetry he would avidely read. Gerry was known as a staunch defender of the Irish freedom struggle and was called upon to analysie and discuss with Irish revolutionaries fighting for an Irish workers republic, Marxist Internet Archives 2012.
