General Tom Barry with Seamus O’Riain

Tom Barry the former IRA Commander of the Third West Cork Flying Column, during the Irish War of Independence, with Seamus O’Riain. Seamus as a teenager joined the IRA and like others of his generation, he migration to London. In the 1960s he forged links with Saor Éire Action Group. He spent three years in British prisons charged with possession of twenty-four rifles and two Bren machine guns.                                                (Many thanks to Hazel for the photographs)
